Circle Dance takes place at the Over 60's Centre in Whitstable every Tuesday evening from 5-6.30pm. Cost is £3 per week.

It is a social dance designed to help people feel connected & create a sense of community. It is an ancient way in which people celebrate being together. The music is from traditional folk to modern and classical.

You do not need a partner & all genders and ages are welcome. All the dances are walked through before the music is played. There are no mistakes - just 'local variations', and if people have problems with balance or dizziness steps can easily be adapted to meet their needs.

The teacher has experience of working with people with dementia.

Please do not wear heels.
