Friends of oare Gunpowder works meet every thursday and once a month on the 2nd Sunday (see website for specific dates. the group runs from 10-2.30pm. This is a volunteering group that carry out a range of tasks including tree planting, treee felling, fence fixing and litter picking. This group is run my Kris who is employed by Green Spaces in Swale Borough Council. This group is not suitable for peoppe with high level disability however there can always be another role found within the organisation like manning the reception desk in The Works visitor centre.
