The Friends of Whitstable Hospital & Healthcare is a voluntary organisation providing a wide range of support. This includes befriending in the local community, services within the hospital such as the food trolley for the patients, running the café at Estuary View and fundraising to buy equipment that benefits the patients in the hospital and the Whitstable Medical Practice. The Friends rely heavily on volunteer involvement to achieve their aims.
