Social Prescribing is a way to help people make positive changes in their lives and within their communities by linking them to voluntary and community groups and other non-clinical services.
The benefits of this approach include helping people to:
• Feel more involved in the community
• Meet new people
• Make some changes to improve health and wellbeing
Linking residents of Faversham, Whitstable, Herne Bay, and Canterbury with activities and support services in the local community, with the aim of enabling people to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
Our friendly team can help connect you with what is going on locally that you are interested in, where it is, how much it costs (if anything) and when it runs. Activities that are for health, wellbeing and linking up with your community are all included.
