Oare Gunpowder Works is curreutnyl joint run by the CMP (The Countryside Management Project) and Swale Borough Council . They have a voluntary group every Thursday called The Friends of Oare Gunpowder Works, this is led by a Green Spaces coordinator. The Works have a visitor centre, beautiful grounds open to the public all year round, has several school visits and other events run throughout the year.
